Different Aspects of Album Design
Various album designs were often found with implicitly when the design is formatted in rules. Why does this happen? Someone requests an original design but contrives to create a design that the public can easily appreciate. I wanted to design, yet an undiscovered album that I wanted to pursue as a designer besides out of conventional album design.
I was reinterpreting my own album design with permission from the company of the idol group album which is called 'Myteen'.
I was able to create my personality and free visual album design as far as possible from the trends and forms of contemporary album design.
다양한 앨범 디자인들은 암묵적으로 형식화된 규격이나 규칙으로 디자인하는 경우들을 자주 발견 되었다. 이러한 현상을 왜 일어났을까? 누군가가 독창적인 디자인을 요청을 하지만 모순적으로 대중들이 편히 감상 할 수 있는 디자인을 제작하게 된다. 진부한 앨범 디자인을 벗어나, 디자이너로서 추구하는 독창적이고 아직 발견되지 않은 디자인은 도전해보고 싶었다.
현재 활동중인 아이돌 '마이틴'의 앨범 자료들을 회사에 허락을 받아 나만의 앨범 디자인을 재해석 했다. 앨범 디자인은 가수, 아티스트들의 개성을 극대화 할 수있는 방식으로 나만의 시각을 재해석 해보았다. 나의 개성을 살릴 수 있고 현대 앨범 디자인의 트렌드와 형식을 최대한 벗어나 자유롭고 시각적인 앨범 디자인을 제작했다.
