A study on application design based on CPTED principle
to activate community communication

We are concerned that the privacy of individuals is respected, the personalities of various individuals coexist and the advancement of technology has stimulated online meetings and communication, while the fact that humans and humans face each other has reduced communication, but communication with a wide range of people over a long distance is active in online.
CPTED is a principle that starts from erasing graffiti, improves space, and prevents crime by changing architectural design. CPTED will become a more powerful crime prevention tool if it is combined with various forms and the online and offline services are appropriately utilized according to the characteristics of modern people. This study proposes an application design for activation of community communication that incorporates the CPTED. I set the app to mark location in the area that users frequent. users can receive local events, issues, and danger alarms. also they can upload posts, comments to communicate community issues.
오늘 날 우리는 개인의 프라이버시가 존중되고, 다 양한 개인들의 개성이 공존하며, 기술의 발달로 온라 인상에서의 회의나 소통이 활발해진 반면 실제로 인 간과 인간이 대면하며 소통하는 일은 줄어드는 것처 럼 가까운 이웃 간의 경계는 좀 더 분명해졌지만 먼 거리의 다양한 사람들과의 소통은 온라인을 통해 활 발하다.
CPTED는 낙서를 지우는 것에서 시작해 공간을 개 선하고, 건축 설계를 달리하여 범죄를 예방하는 원리 지만, 현대인들의 특성에 맞추어 온라인과 오프라인 으로 지역사회를 연결시키는 서비스로 환경개선과 온라인소통이 접목되어 완성도를 높일 수 있다. 다 양한 형태로 결합되고 온라인과 오프라인의 서비스 가 적절히 융합되어 활용된다면 CPTED는 더욱 강력 한 범죄예방 도구가 될 것이다. 이러한 컨셉을 배경 으로 CPTED의 원리가 접목된 지역 사회 커뮤니케 이션 활성화를 위한 어플리케이션을 디자인했다. 이 어플리케이션에서는 유저가 자주 가는 지역에서 앱 을 켜고 위치를 마크하도록 설정했다. 자주 가는 지역 일수록 권한을 높게 부여하고, 권한에 따라 지역의 이 벤트나 이슈, 위험 알람 등을 푸시로 받을 수 있다. 또 한 유저들은 어플리케이션 내에서 게시물을 업로드 하거나 게시물에 댓글을 달아 지역 사회의 이슈에 대해서 소통할 수 있다.
